ABOUT

Culture Edge is built on 25 years of experience seeing how organisations perform, drift and change.

OUR FOUNDER

Beth Hall

Beth Hall is a people scientist and founder of Culture Edge. Her work draws on 25 years inside and alongside organisations across some of the world’s most demanding industries, in executive roles spanning both HR and operations.

A Masters in Organisational Psychology from the University of London sits behind the work. So does 25 years of seeing how organisations behave under pressure, at scale, and through change. The combination is what makes the diagnosis sharp and the solutions something organisations can act on.

Beth is a Fellow Certified Practitioner of HR and a current Academic Board Member of the Governance Institute of Australia. Her career includes roles at Cotton On Group, where she led organisational development across 22,000 team members, eight brands, and 19 countries, and as GM of HR Standards and Capability at AHRI, the peak body for the HR profession in Australia.

Trusted by leaders across private, public and not-for-profit organisations.

Pattern recognition
 built across 25 years

Her career has spanned more than a dozen industries and every type of organisation, global, government, growth-stage, and everything between. Working across retail, agriculture, construction, government, finance, hospitality, technology, and more, staying long enough in each for change to actually embed, is where the pattern recognition comes from.

What makes culture work, what makes leaders decide well, and what gets in the way, becomes visible when you’ve seen it play out across that many different contexts. That accumulated insight is what Culture Edge brings.

Beth works with a trusted network of specialists where engagements require it. She remains the primary point of contact throughout. The practice is built for meaningful work, not scale.

Intelligent insights

I had the privilege of working with Beth through some particularly challenging times, and she was the epitome of an empathetic and commercial leader, a very rare combination of skills. Beth is genuine, able to build a rapport quickly with everyone she comes into contact with, and offers intelligent and thoughtful insights and perspectives. Beth is an asset to any executive team.

Beth demonstrated a rare ability to blend empathy with professionalism and pragmatism. She created a supportive environment while assuredly guiding me through uncertainty, helping me gain clarity and move forward with confidence.

Exceeded goals

From the very beginning, they were honest, real, and incredibly supportive, taking the time to truly understand my goals and challenges. The goals we set at the outset were not only achieved but far exceeded, delivering benefits that I hadn’t even anticipated.
